I learned something valuable today while reading the Lookout. Grandparents have a certain role with their grandchildren. We must be there when they need us, but we must let our children raise them as we raised our children. As parents, we can only pray that we have raised out children with the right mixture of values to produce children just like the ones we produced.
There will always be outside influences, but we can only pray our children remember where they came from and they will always respect the people who laid the foundation for their growth.

A quote frome the Lookout:
"As grandparents we want to be remembered as having the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22, 23). Above all, we want our family to spend eternity together in Heaven. Time is running out to influence our grandchildren. They are heading to college, getting married, and we are nearing our graduation into Heaven."

Autum

Autum is the first of my memories as a Mamaw. The day she was born, my life changed considerably. My thoughts belonged to someone else.
